constructionproducts.ae is the e-commerce platform of Construction Materials Online General Trading, Post Box 9100, Abu Dhabi – UAE.

Construction Materials Online General Trading (referred as “CP”) provide Online Store or Website services when you visit or shop at constructionproducts.ae (the Website) or mobile applications in Google or Apple Play store (hereby referred as “cp.ae”). Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to CP or cp.ae

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or shop at constructionproducts.ae

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit our website cp.ae, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse cp.ae, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to cp.ae, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically collected information as “Device Information.”

If you are a BUYER, during the Login process we may collect certain information from you, including your name, billing and shipping address, payment information (EXCLUDING credit card numbers).  We will also keep the information provided to us in connection with Feedback form, technical query, Reviews of sellers, regarding disputes or complaints regarding purchased through cp.ae.

If you are a SELLER, during the Login and Registration process we may collect information from you, including your Name, Company name, Payment information (EXCLUDING credit card numbers), Copy of Passport or Emirates ID, Trade license, VAT certificate, Bank Account number and Business type, industry, Products etc. 

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking about Device Information and details collected from BUYER and SELLER

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We use the Personal Information to verify your identity, communicate with you, do background checks and verify eligibility while setting up user accounts, Know Your Customer (KYC) purposes, screen for potential risk or fraud to assess account security and transaction risks.

We use the Information collected from BUYER and SELLER to fulfill any orders placed through the Site, facilitate communication for processing the order. 

Additionally, we use the collected information:-

1.       We will share to SELLERS the details of BUYER information on last viewed products, favorites, feedback, technical query form to contact you with details of products, technical support etc.

2.       To identify, develop and enhance our marketing through emails, media etc. of cp.ae to reach existing/potential BUYERS and SELLERS based on browsing records, order history, SELLER review, favorites etc. in cp.ae

3.       To research and statistical analysis on the behavior of browsing cp.ae to improve the content, product range, services, web layout etc. As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. 

4.       We also use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. 

5.       Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our legal rights.

DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

We retain collected Personal Information as part of legitimate business or as permitted by applicable laws.
